News on Coach Gary

After working with us for two years, in which time he has taken the team from 40 swimmers to 200, improved dramatically the quality of training and developed a juniorteam of growing talent and ability,
swim team head coach
Gary Tan will be leaving us. Gary is in high demand in Singapore and will be working increasingly with the National team next year and will also be involved with the organization of the South East Asia games, which is to be hosted here in Singapore. We will miss him tremendously but will be keeping in close touch with him, keeping our contacts with the local club-swimming scene and the Special Olympics organization. We all wish him well.

We have been extremely fortunate to find a replacement, Aaron Gray, who is presently Head of Athletics at Taipei American School (an IASAS member school). He is an ex international New Zealand swimmer who has extensive coaching qualifications and experience as well as a background in exercise physiology. Aaron will be joining us in July and we believe he will take our now established

Unfortunately, we do not have the opportunity to thank Gary as we end the school year as he is in National Service.
Gary however, will be on campus in the first 2 weeks of next school year to work with Aaron.
