The week that was...

Lightning!

Too much of it, that is for sure. Many of our junior groups had a week of assessment sets lined up for them - none were completed. A little bit frustrating, but this is the price we pay for having great, warm weather year round.

This weekend saw a good sized group compete at the Dragon's Den - I think some forgot all about it somehow too, and didn't show up!

We had a ton of PBs from our swimmers - the results aren't out yet apart from Meet Mobile - medalists are listed below...
We also won the award for best team spirit - apparently something that we were not know for for some years (so I've been told???) Great to see our senior swimmers come along and support between study sessions too!

Evie Song placed 3rd in the 200 IM, Andrea Luo placed 3rd in the 100m Br and 200m Br, Ria Zaman was 3rd in 100m Br and 100m Fly,Josh Beacroft was 3rd in 100m Bk, Emi Cashman was 1st in the 50m and 100m & 200m Br, Jacob Diermayr was 2nd in 200m Bk and 3rd in 100m Bk, Ishaan Garg was 3rd in the 200m Fly, Ana Koczanowski was 2nd in 50m Fly (open), 1st in 100m Fly, 3rd in 50m Fr (open), 1st in 100m & 200m Bk, 2nd in 50m Bk (open), and 2nd 200m Fly, Alard Schroeder was 3rd 100m Fr, 2nd 100m Fly, and 3rd 200m Fr.

Congrats everyone, and also well done to UWCSEA East on a successful first Dragon's Den!
