Sports Psychology Session

Yesterday our SEASAC team met with Sports Psychologist Dr. Jay-Lee Nair. The workshop was focused on coping with anxiety and perceived pressure. The swimmers were very open and honest with Dr. Nair during their time together (which is essential!) sharing thoughts and feelings that they have pre-event. Below are the post-workshop notes for your reference. Dr. Nair will be part of our camps in the future. We hope to run a parent workshop before the end of this school year.

Dr. Nair has been working with the Singapore Sports School for a few years and is Singapore Swimming's contracted psychologist. I hope our swimmers took on board the tools that were presented, and will use them in the coming weeks and months.
