The Week That Was..

It has been a very long time since we have had an entire week of swimming - in fact we just had ten days in a row!
We had a solid week of technique with a little work thrown in for good measure. We "broke the seal" on our new under water cameras where we saw what is really happening under water - to quote one swimmer...
"It looks different to how it feels"

It is important that next week is not a complete week of rest!!! I'll post a couple of land workouts and swim workouts to follow - the swims don't need to be hard, but too much time out of the water right now is going to set us back even more than the haze has already done.

When we return, we have only a few weeks before we start racing. We need to do lots of racing - to get better at it, not necessarily to go fast right away.

November
Club Night - 3 ALL DOVER
SAS Duel Meet - 6 Selection SAS
HS ACSIS - 14 Selection SAS
Phoenix Meet - 21 ALL DOVER
Santa Claus - 28/29 ALL SAS
December
Club Night - 2 ALL DOVER
Funkita Novice @ Dover - 5 Mini Squads DOVER
We have also been invited to attend a small meet on Friday 30, at Dulwich - this would be a great meet for our Orcas and Senior D swimmers. We will arrange this on our return.
We also have a small team travelling to BPS for the Feeding Frenzy.

Please feel free to share the link for our invitation for our Novice meet with your friends at Tanglin, Swiss, American, or British Clubs. This is for first timers only - our mini squads will be swimming in this meet - our more experienced swimmers will help officiate.

The Easter Phuket Camp  registrations will close after our first week back - the costs will be fixed and deposits collected soon after. If you are interested, please follow the link above to register.

Enjoy the break from the routine of school - we look forward to having you back on the 25th to re-start our swimming year!
