Sr. SNAGS Results

Results have finally arrived!

Very good meet for the Phoenix. A ton of PBs were swum, and execution of good race strategy was improved even over some of the fantastic efforts we saw at SEASAC.
A much improved effort if we look at this time last year.
We are very lucky to have the OCBC Aquatic Centre to compete in; it is a very fast pool and has attracted swimmers from around South East Asia who needed qualifying times for Rio. It was great to see these quality swims.
Our first meet as a united team was...good. As we compete together in the future, there will be a more comfortable team environment, but it was great to have a large group cheering at finals when many of our swimmers chose not to swim.

This is the premiere age group meet in Singapore each year and the Phoenix need to treat this as such. It is clear that we don't dominate at this level, so we should be focussing on qualifying as many swimmers as possible (this year's time were not particularly hard), and competing against the best in the country. This is the best way to improve as individuals and a program.
