Hi all
Thanks to all competitive squad swimmers who participated in the first Club Night of the 2018/19 academic year on Friday. The weather was very kind to us (after quite a terrible fortnight of afternoon lightning) and we were able to get through the program smoothly.
For many of the Junior swimmers, this was the first time they were competing in a 100m event, and for some, their first recorded races at UWCSEA Dover.
The Middle School and High School squad swimmers competed in a 200m event (not freestyle), which is not a common racing opportunity in the International School circuit. The coaches were delighted with the positive attitude and pacing skills on display, in what are some of the most physically challenging pool races available.
Results
The next Club Night is in the Aquatics Calendar on Wednesday 30th November (to ensure students who have other activities on Fridays do not miss out on this opportunity).
