Over the next two seasons, the groupings and criteria will be altered a little to best serve our swimmers and our goals. For now, we have the following guidelines for our Junior Squads
JUNIOR GREEN

1. Junior School swimmers participating in this squad will be on track to swim competitively.
Swimmers will work on technique on all 4 strokes with a strong emphasis on starts/turns/finishes as well.
2. Participate in competitive level meets (e.g. Club Nights, Swim Invitational and Dual Meets)
JUNIOR BLUE
Training requirements: Min of 3 sessions per week
Squad description:
1. Junior School swimmers participating in this squad would be swimmers progressing into a more challenging competitive phase. Swimmers in this group go through strong foundational work to build their competitive advantage in swimming.
3. Participate in competitive level meets (e.g. Club Nights, Swim Invitational, Dual Meets and ACSIS)
JUNIOR GOLD
Training requirements: Min of 3 sessions per week
Squad description:
1. Junior School Swimmers participating in this squad would be swimmers who would have had some form of competitive experience. This is highly competitive Junior Squad whereby swimmers are vying towards swimming in Junior National Age Groups and potentially placing top 8 time standards within their age group in the National Age Group.
2. Swimmers would focus on technique work coupled with a strong emphasis on kicking/pulling and endurance. In addition to the mileage and strength building phase, we would want to gear our swimmers in this group to focus on building a strong individual medley foundation. Hence a strong emphasis on medley training would be implemented in this group as well.
3. Participate in competitive level meets (e.g. Club Nights, Swim Invitational, Dual Meets and ACSIS)
