Fantastic racing on Saturday at the MS ACSIS competition!
The depth of the team was really on display, with the majority of swimmers scoring points, and the relays performing exceptionally well. What was particularly pleasing was not only the great results from the relay A teams, but the B team relays were often finishing in the top 5 or 6 places.
After a very close 2nd place finish last year, the girls team finished this year with a massive 170 points (compared to 116 last year) to win the girls trophy by a whopping 55 points. The boys finished 3rd (which was the same as last year), and increased their total points tally from 91 last year, to 117 this year.
The combined team had the highest points total overall!
Nexus always host a great competition, and I'm sure everyone who was there would agree that the atmosphere was brilliant, especially in some of the incredibly close relays!
The team were training hard leading into the competition, and most will now start the race specific competition preparation for the focus meets in March.
A massive thanks to all the parents who came to support, as well as some of the Senior School swimmers.
